‘THE WANKYS’, the emperors of British NOISE PUNK, are set to embark on their miraculous and final tour of Japan, alongside the release of a special Japanese-edition CD!!

‘THE WANKYS’, who continue to lead the UK noise punk scene, are coming to Japan! And as this is their ‘final tour of Japan’, they’re raring to go!

This tour originally began as a plan devised by Mark from THE WANKYS, the late Nira-chan (CHAOS CHANNEL) and Azusa (STAGNATION). However, following the all-too-sudden news of Nira-chan’s passing, the tour itself was on the brink of collapse and cancellation. Amidst such despair, Azusa resolved to carry on Nira-chan’s strong legacy and took the lead in organising the tour at short notice. Working under gruelling conditions with a tight deadline, she managed to reorganise the tour, and finally, in the latter half of January 2027, the long-awaited final Japan tour became a reality!

This release, one of the highlights of the tour’s merchandise, is a special CD featuring not only Mark’s previously released works but also a collection of no fewer than 11 (!) demo tracks, all remastered and remixed. Although the original plan was to include all the demo tracks, this would have far exceeded the capacity of a single CD, so Mark himself carefully selected and re-edited the tracks specifically for the Japan tour! The result is an overwhelming collection comprising 29 tracks and running for approximately 60 minutes. Even for die-hard fans who already own several of these releases, the very fact that ‘VOL. 11’ even existed will come as a shock.

Naturally, as it consists entirely of previously unreleased material, the songs on this CD are set to form the core of this Japan tour. The entire album is packed with NOISE PUNK brimming with love for Japan.

The artwork, too, is a labour of love, entirely created by the genius Mark himself! Listen to it before the Japan tour so you can familiarise yourself with the tracks and enjoy them to the full! This is definitely a must-have!
